If the throttles wire colors are different from the speed controllers wire colors match the wire colors as indicated below:

 

Function Throttle Controller (v1) Controller (v2)
Ground Blue to Black Blue
+5 Vdc In Red to Red Red
+1-4 Vdc Out Green to Green, Blue or White Green or White
36 Vdc In *Yellow to Yellow or Orange Yellow or Orange

 

*The yellow wire is for the power meter indicator lights and hookup is optional.

*Replaces standard 3 wire throttles if yellow wire is not connected.
