The Open Circuit Voltage Range (OCVR) is the range of Voltage
that the battery will operate between. This LiFePO4 battery has a built-in
Protection Circuit Module (PCM) which will stop the charging cycle if the
battery Voltage goes above 38.4 Volts and stop the output power if the battery
Voltage drops below 30 Volts. This feature protects the battery from being overcharged and from being
overdischarged which prolongs the lifespan and capacity of the battery.
It is the nature of LiFePO4 batteries that their power output is constant
throughout most of their discharge cycle.
This LiFePO4 battery outputs a steady voltage of around 38.4 Volts until very little
of its capacity remains. This allows for full-power riding conditions through
most of the battery's discharge cycle.
