These kits are recommended only for those with the inclination and tools needed to perform basic dirt bike modifications. No electrical wiring experience or tools are required to install our MX series dirt bike kits as they come 100% pre-wired. Only the inclination and tools needed to cut off a small metal tab and drill a hole into the frame for one of the motor's bolt heads to fit into, to mount the new larger controller to the frame, and to install the hardware or brackets needed to mount a larger battery pack with either four or five batteries to the frame.

We have sold hundreds of these kits and each one has been successfully installed, so anyone with the inclination and tools can install one of these kits. We only provide this warning to let people know that these are custom installation kits and they are not bolt-and-go kits which only require a wrench and screwdriver to install.
