UPS and FedEx Express Shipments: Orders placed on weekdays before 12pm noon Pacific Time with UPS and FedEx 3-day, 2-day and overnight shipping options will ship out on the same business day if possible. If same day express order shipping is not possible due to circumstances out of our control then we will contact you before 5pm Pacific Time to let you know. Express shipment orders placed on weekends and holidays are treated as orders placed before 12pm noon Pacific Time on the following business day.

 

Returns and Exchanges: ElectricScooterParts.com will process returns and issue refunds for items that were purchased in the last 30 calendar days. Items must be returned in new and re-sellable condition. A 20% restocking fee will apply on returned merchandise. Speed controllers are sealed inside of clear plastic packaging and are not returnable once the packaging has been opened. We do not accept returns on chain sold by the link or on special order belt sizes.


How do I return an item?

Step 1: Fill out a Merchandise Return Form:
View and print a Merchandise Return Form. Complete this form and include it in the package with your return.

Option 1:
We will accept a copy of your original receipt, or a hand-written return note which includes the reason the item is being returned along with your full name, address, and phone number.

 

Step 2: Package items for return:
Package items securely and seal in a cardboard box. Heavy and fragile items should be shipped back in a new cardboard box with adequate padding and void filler.

 

Step 3: Ship package:
Mail the package to the address below. Please be sure to securely package and insure your shipment for we cannot take responsibility for parts that are damaged in transit or packages that do not make it back to our warehouse.

Step 4: Check your e-mail:
We will send you an e-mail to notify you that your return has been processed. You should expect your credit card account to credited within 10-14 business days after we have received your return.

 

How do I exchange an item? To exchange an item simply place another order for the parts that you really need and then send the original parts back as a return (see instructions for returns above). Once we receive your return we will issue a refund credit to your credit card. The credit should appear within 10-14 days after we receive your return. Exchanges of equal or greater value are eligible for a restocking fee waiver. Please call us toll-free at 1-800-908-8082 or email us at returns@electricscooterparts.com to request a restocking fee waiver on your return if you have already exchanged it for another item.

 

What if I receive damaged goods or a mis-shipment? At ElectricScooterParts.com we are committed to delivering the right products and quantities to our customers. We employ several quality and quantity checks before an order leaves our warehouse. If you have received a damaged or defective item, or an incorrect number of items, please contact one of our customer service representatives. Who pays for return shipping? Since we offer so many low priced parts for sale we simply can not afford to pay for return shipping like other websites do that only sell higher priced items like shoes. For a return, you are responsible for the cost of returning the merchandise. However, if we’ve made a mistake and sent you incorrect merchandise, or you received damaged merchandise, please notify us immediately. We will reimburse you for the cost of returning the package back to us, and we will not charge you for the shipping costs of the replacement merchandise.

 

Unclaimed, Refused and Incorrectly Addressed Orders: Orders placed with UPS and FedEx shipping options which are unclaimed or refused are subject to return shipping fees. Orders placed with UPS and FedEx shipping options which are incorrectly addressed are subject to return shipping fees if returned or address correction fees if delivered. Reshipping fees or restocking fees will apply to unclaimed, refused or incorrectly addressed orders which are returned back to us by the carrier.

 

Additional Shipping Fees: Orders placed with UPS and FedEx three day, two day, overnight, and international shipping options may be subject to additional shipping fees for larger items due to extra dimensional weight fees charged by the carrier. We will notify you in this case and give you the option to pay the additional dimensional weight shipping fees or cancel your order.

 

Warranty Policy: We pass on to our customers all warranties made by the product's manufacturer, who has sole responsibility for performing such warranties. When a manufacturer's warranty is provided, it's terms and conditions will be stated in the product's title or description. The manufacturer shall be solely responsible for any damage to person or property arising from the design, manufacture, and distribution of it's products, and we accept no liability for such damages. We make no warranty as to products distributed by us, expressed, or implied, including without limitation any warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages. Warranties are valid within the continental USA only. Warranties do not extend to incorrect installation or to consumer misuse or neglect of products.

 

Sales Tax: Orders shipped to California are subject to 8.25% state sales tax.

 

Credit Card Security: We know that our customers are concerned about their credit card security and so are we.
